Riccardo Chailly at the Palau de la Música Catalana

Riccardo Chailly is right now one of the best conductors in the world. His career spans his debut as assistant conductor for Claudio Abbado at the Teatro alla Scala to conducting major international orchestras such as the Wiener Philharmoniker, the Berliner Philharmoniker, and the New York Philharmonic, among many others.

On October 3 we will have the opportunity to hear him conducting the Orchestra della Scalla, of which he has been in charge since 2015, at the Palau de la Música Catalana. They will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 and Mahler. An appointment with Romanticism to start the Palau 100 cycle. Over the season you will be able to listen to orchestras of the stature of the Vienna Symphony with Omer Meir Wellber or the Berlin Philharmonic with Kirill Petrenko at the baton.
