The German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott presents a program with three Sonatas by Beethoven, revisiting the composer to wom she dedicated a monographic album years ago. Her Beethoven selection is complemented by a collection of Nocturnes by the Irish composer John Field, a contemporary of Beethoven and renowned for his focus on this form, which became central to his body work.
