Andrè Schuen

The Italian baritone Andrè Schuen, one of the leading figures in the next generation of lied singers, will make his début at the Palau de la Música Catalana with a programme in which the central work is the orchestrated lieder Des Knaben Wunderhorn (The Boy’s Magic Horn) by Gustav Mahler, in a reduction by Klaus Simon. The concert will feature collaboration from the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana ensemble, directed by conductor Anna Sułkowska-Migoń, winner of La Maestra 2022, a conducting competition run by the Philharmonie de Paris. The concert will also include Richard Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll.
