The career of South African soprano Pretty Yende began with a series of prestigious awards. She became the first artist in the history of the Belvedere Competition in Vienna to win the highest recognition in both the Opera and Operetta categories in 2010. Her studies, which began at the South African College of Music, concluded at the Teatro alla Scala Academy in 2011. Since her professional debut in Riga as Micaëla in Carmen, she has graced the stages of the world’s most prestigious opera houses.
Soprano Nadine Sierra, born in Florida, completed her studies at the Mannes School of Music in New York before continuing with the Adler Fellowship Program at the San Francisco Opera. Numerous accolades propelled her international career. In 2017, she won the Richard Tucker Award, and in 2018, she received the Beverly Sills Artist Award from the Metropolitan Opera.
